Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors, because authorship entails responsibility that only humans can hold. Authors who use AI tools (for example, for language editing, drafting, or data analysis) must disclose this in the Methods or Acknowledgements section, stating which tool was used and how. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and originality of the entire manuscript, including any AI-assisted parts. Reviewers must not upload the manuscript or any part of it to public AI tools, in order to protect confidentiality.
